What happens when you revamp the classic childhood game of tag by adding jumps, obstacles and a time limit?
You get World Chase Tag, the first and only global league for professional, competitive tag.
The basics of tag remain the same -- one person chases an opponent in an attempt to tag them.
Created in 2011 by brothers Christian and Damien Devaux, the league has traveled all over the globe.
It has also gained a popular internet following, as well as a television audience with broadcasts on ESPN, BBC, and Fox.
The league has held four world championships, most recently, taking place on August 24, 2019 in London.
