Shots were fired in the Baden-Wuerttemberg town of Rot am See on Saturday, just a day after a deadly shooting in the area claimed six lives.

Footage shows a heavy police presence near the scene after the shots were let off on Saturday. No one was reported hurt in the incident.

"This morning at 10:45 [local time] we received reports about several shots, which were fired here in this location. Following this, we deployed a strong number of forces and called for special unit forces,'' explained Police spokesperson Bernd Maerkle.

"This suspect, that is supposed to have fired the shots, barricaded himself in an apartment afterwards. A few minutes ago, special unit forces seized the man, after they stormed the apartment, and arrested the suspect unhurt," he added.

Maerkle went on to say that there was no information yet about any relation between the two suspects. An investigation is underway and the suspect is in police custody.

In the shooting which took place on Friday, the 26-year-old suspect Adrian S. shot and killed six people, two of them his parents.
