WATCH: WHO officials update novel coronavirus status after China revises cases upward

World Health Organization officials held a press conference on Thursday, Feb. 13, after a change in criteria for diagnosing patients with the novel coronavirus--now renamed COVID-19-- led to a sharp increase in cases reported. WHO officials assured the public that it “does not represent a significant change in the trajectory of the outbreak.”
