Budget 2020: Special focus on mid-career workers

The new SkillsFuture Mid-Career Support Package will provide workers in their 40s and 50s with even more opportunities to re-skill and stay employable in the midst of a changing economy. As part of the package, employers will be given an incentive to hire local jobseekers aged 40 and above through re-skilling programmes, such as those under the Adapt and Grow initiative. Similarly, these programmes will see their capacity increased, with the aim of doubling job placement for local mid-career workers by 2025.
