Greece tells UK: 'Give us back our history!'

The European Union is demanding the return of “stolen” artifacts to Greece. The so-called “Elgin Marbles” are 2,500 years old and once sat in the Parthenon temple. They are currently housed in the British Museum in London. The UK maintains that the artifacts were legally acquired from the Ottoman Empire and that the EU is using them as leverage in negotiating the terms of Brexit.
