Two youths who were harassing a female student in a UP Roadways bus soon realised the power of social media. The girl sent out a tweet about the harassment she was facing, and her pleas didn’t go unnoticed. UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s social media team saw her seeking help and tagged the UP Police handle along with Call 112 which is the UP Police’s wing for those seeking immediate assistance. Thereafter, the bus was intercepted in Ayodhya and both the accused were detained. The female student profusely thanked the UP cops for their intervention.
