A self-constructed Batmobile turned the heads of local motorists in Moscow on February 22, and also caught the attention of local police who stopped the vehicle and fined its driver.

The police said the owner of the Batmobile, a 32-year-old Muscovite, didn’t have the required authorisation to drive the vehicle on public roads.

As police measured the replica, the vehicle’s dimensions highly exceeded the limit for a passenger car, and it also turned out the superhero ride was not registered under the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate.

The car was towed out and now awaits for the Caped Crusader to rescue her from the Moscow police for some 50,000 roubles ($760, €700).
