YouTube has suspended monetization on all three of Shane Dawson's channels days after he posted a lengthy apology video addressing numerous controversial videos from his past, including instances he wore blackface. YouTube said even if a creator’s current content doesn’t violate company guidelines, when past videos are brought to YouTube’s attention, it has a responsibility to take action. The length of the punishment is indefinite, but not permanent. Inside Edition Digital has more.
