Dr. Anthony Fauci shared his views Thursday on whether college football and other intercollegiate fall sports should play later this year. "It's certainly not up to me, but the fundamental public health principles are very, very clear ... If you can't [safeguard health], then you should reconsider whether you want to have a season or not," the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said in an interview with PBS NewsHour's Judy Woodruff. Both the Big Ten and the Pac-12, two of the Power Five conferences in college football, announced this week that they would postpone their fall sports seasons.
