Boston College has reported at least 115 coronavirus cases among its students since the school reopened for the fall semester, most of which have come in the last week. The outbreak — followed by allegations of inadequate testing and poor communication about positive cases — has sparked concern from some students, faculty members, community members and local officials, including Newton Mayor Ruthanne Fuller and Boston City Councilor Liz Breadon. In response, the state of Massachusetts announced Tuesday that it would take over contact tracing efforts on campus. Jim Braude was joined by Boston College spokesperson Jack Dunn to ask about allegations that the school has mismanaged the situation.
