Producing a vaccine is a complex business - so how much can we produce and who will get it first?

Experts say most of us will need two doses no matter which vaccine makes it to the open market.

With seven of the nine prototype vaccines in late stage clinical trials, that’s only likely to be enough to immunise a little over 12% of the 7.8 billion people who need it.
