An exclusive poll for GMB has revealed 93% of teachers say their pupils have fallen behind academically with 15% of those teaching pupils taking exams claiming their students have fallen behind "hugely".

It comes after the Education Secretary suggested that GCSE and A-level assessments exams could be pushed back to give teachers more time to finish courses, but is it time to scrap school exams altogether?
