Exercise Cambrian Patrol is the most prestigious patrolling exercise of its kind, anywhere in the world.

More than 1,000 soldiers gather in Brecon, Wales, representing units from across the world.

Unfortunately, this year we’ve had to cancel the exercise because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Anyone who completes the Cambrian Patrol will have a great story to tell.

Here, WO2 Paul Edwards and WO2 Chris Poultney, of 104 Regiment Royal Artillery, who between them have racked up more patrols than anyone else in the world, talk river crossings, sleep deprivation, fog, snow, ration packs and the determination to succeed.

Have you done it? Could you do it? Would you do it? Leave your comments below.
