Public health experts in Massachusetts are expressing increased alarm after the number of new COVID-19 cases in the state this past weekend reached levels that had not been seen since May. The local increase comes as the United States endures a third wave of COVID-19; the country set a new record last week for the number of new cases in a single day. To discuss, Jim Braude was joined by Dr. Nahid Bhadelia, medical director of the Special Pathogens Unit at Boston Medical Center.
