Columns of tractors, farmers, climate, and animal rights activists gathered to demand new agricultural policies in Berlin for the yearly 'We're fed up' demonstration, on Saturday.

Protesters first gathered at the Christian Democratic Union party's federal headquarters, where a tractor trampled over a banner reading "15 years the CDU's agricultural policy leaves traces behind, decrease in small farms, dumping prices, climate crisis."

Protesters later moved to the German Chancellery, where thousands of drawings of footprints of people who were unable to participate due to the COVID-19 pandemic were hung on string.

Normally the demonstration draws thousands to the German capital but this year's demonstration was far smaller in scale due to the coronavirus outbreak.

SOT, Protester (German): "What is happening today is for ecological agricultural policy , the problems for agriculture, social problems, but also ecological problems are constantly increasing. Farmers are not getting enough money for their products, and environment, nature and climate problems are persistently getting bigger. Therefore the European and German politicians should do more to set up an ecological agriculture policy."
