A jury in Minneapolis has found Derek Chauvin guilty of the murder of George Floyd.

The former police officer was filmed kneeling on Mr Floyd’s neck for more than nine minutes while arresting him.

The jury reached its verdict and found Chauvin guilty of all three charges - second degree murder, third degree murder and manslaughter.

Mr Floyd, an African American, was being arrested in connection with a minor offence. The video of his death led to worldwide protests against racism and demanding change.
