President Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold news conferences following their summit in Geneva on June 16.

During an opening session, Putin said he hopes for a “productive” session while Biden said it was important to be meeting face to face. The meeting is expected to last four to five hours. Both the White House and the Kremlin have attempted to temper expectations and said not to expect any breakthroughs. Some issues expected to be covered include recent cyberattacks that the United States has said originated from Russia, arms control, human rights and climate change.

The Post’s Rhonda Colvin will anchor a Washington Post special report featuring reporters Olivier Knox, Joyce Koh, Natalie Jennings and Eugene Scott. Isabelle Khurshudyan will join from Moscow. John Hudson and Ashley Parker join from Geneva. Columnist James Hohmann will also be a guest. Read more: wapo.st/3q2LM3c. Subscribe to The Washington Post on YouTube: wapo.st/2QOdcqK
