Ahead of the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow in November, ITV News has spoken to people living on the front line of climate change to find out what messages they have for the world leaders who will be attending it.

Here, we speak to Melissa Schuster, a local resident and business owner in Paradise, California. In 2018, a deadly fire started by old power lines but fuelled by decades of drought which made the forests drier, led to 85% of the town's buildings being destroyed.
