Spiking women is on the rise. A 19 year old woman is said to have felt ‘a pinch on the back of her arm’ before blacking out as she left a club in Nottingham. Other women have posted unconfirmed reports on social media that they were spiked by needles during nights out in cities, including Dundee, Edinburgh and Stirling. Durham University has also been accused of victim blaming after tweeting to students "don't get spiked" and it was something "you can prevent from happening to you and your friends"
