Conservationists Track Pumas With Radar Technology

Conservationists are using some advanced technology to track the movements and health of big cats. Three pumas, or cougars, are being tracked on the Olympic peninsula of Washington State by the Olympic Cougar Project of Panthera, an organization dedicated to preserving 40 wildcat species around the world. The big cats were outfitted with collars that give off radio signals. The technology was developed in Africa to fight elephant poaching. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
