Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who is in town for the China Development Forum this week, posted an image on Thursday of him jogging in Tiananmen Square. The problem with that is users can't post to Facebook in China as the entire service, along with Twitter and other sites, are blocked by the country's so-called Great Firewall of China. The photo sparked controversy for other reasons as well with some folks noting that Zuckerberg should've worn a face mask for his protection due to the high level of smog in Beijing. Other posters also pointed out the cultural significance of Tiananmen square, where hundreds of protesters were killed by the government in 1989.
