Hispanic Republicans Fear The Future Of The Party

Published on 11 Mar 2016, 13:33
Florida Republican Hispanics are expressing concerns that a win for Donald Trump in Florida's primary next week will deal major setbacks to efforts made to widen the party's appeal beyond white voters, potentially dooming hopes of retaking the White House from Democrats in 2016.
Some activists have expressed in interviews fear that a Trump win could prompt many Latino Republicans, angry at his anti-immigrant rhetoric, to stay home on Nov. 8, Election Day, or worse, support the Democratic nominee.
