Following a widely publicized incident which resulted in pop star Richard Marx having to subdue an unruly passenger last week, Korean Air has reportedly made the decision to loosen its Taser usage policy. The Airline has stated that from now on, flight crew will be allowed to use Tasers to deal with any mid-air disturbances as they see fit. On-board crew have had Tasers available for years, but were only allowed to use them when the physical safety of passengers or cabin crew was threatened. The announcement comes only one week after Marx's wife, Daisy Fuentes, recorded an altercation in which a passenger tied up with ropes broke free and Marx was forced to step in to help restrain him, after which the incident - and the couple's scathing assessment of the flight crew's performance in dealing with it - went viral.
