63rd National Film Awards were distributed in a ceremony at the national capital by the President, Pranab Mukherjee. Actor, Amitabh Bachchan received his 4th national award for his role in Piku and Kangana Ranaut received her 3rd national award for her role in Tanu weds Manu. Sanjay Leela Bhansali received the best director award for historical romance, Bajirao Mastani while Salman Khan starer cross border drama Bajrangi Bhaijaan got the award for popular film. Director Rajamouli and his magnum opus Bahubali won the best film award.
