Jerry Lewis dead: Legendary comedian and Hollywood star dies Aged 91

Jerry Lewis who was one of Hollywood's most renowned comedians noted for his work with Dean Martin, has died aged 91 at his home in Las Vegas on 20 August. He battled with a number of health issues over the years, including open-heart surgery in 1983, surgery for prostate cancer in 1992, prescription drug dependency treatment in 2003, a heart attack in 2006 and a long fight with pulmonary fibrosis.
Lewis is survived by his second wife, SanDee Pitnick, with whom he adopted a daughter.
