Russian President Vladimir Putin presents the 2017 State Awards for Outstanding Achievements in Human Rights and Charity Work, in Moscow, on Monday, December 18.

Chair of the Moscow Helsinki Group Lyudmila Alekseyeva is the recipient of the human rights award, while the award for charity work goes to Chair of the Anzhela Vavilova Charity Foundation for Children with Leukaemia Vladimir Vavilov.
