Facebook: players Benjamin Pavard and Olivier Giroud discussed the upcoming World Cup semi-final against Belgium in a press conference in Istra in the Moscow Region on Sunday.

With Pavard on the pitch the French team are yet to lose a game in either junior or senior level, and the right-back said he hopes the 29-game run will last at least two more matches.

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud said that it will be "bizarre" having former French player Henry Thierry on Belgium's side as an assistant coach, but that their focus is on "the pitch and the game."

He went on to compare the two attacking stars, France’s Kylian Mbappe and Belgium’s Eden Hazard by saying that "they are two undeniable talents."

France will face Belgium in Saint Petersburg on Tuesday July 10 for a place in the World Cup final.
