The remains of eight more people have been found in Northern California, bringing the death toll to 56 in the State's worst wildfire.
While there is some way to go before the flames are extinguished, there's now hope that some of the fires are diminishing.
Authorities say vegetation ignited - another reminder that US President Trump’s contention that the fires could be prevented with better forest management is wrong – the fires burning through California did not begin in forests.
Those flames are then encouraged by the effects of climate change.

Al Jazeera's Heidi Zhou-Castro reports.
