Britain's Prince Harry joked that he wanted to climb on a prop motorbike and rev it on stage ahead of a gala performance of the "Bat Out of Hell" musical on Thursday (December 6), held to support the Invictus Games Foundation.

The musical is inspired by rocker Meat Loaf's 1977 breakthrough album of the same name, which is famous for having a motorbike on the cover. The passionate love story for the stage fuses the classic catalogue of songs with some previously unreleased music.

The Invictus Games, founded by Harry in 2014, is an international Paralympics-style event for military personnel wounded in action. The foundation supports the wounded veterans who compete in the games.
